The world will consume more and more coffee in the coming years, and Brazil, which already meets 35% of world demand, will have an increasing share in this market.
This is indicated by the Report on the Coffee Market, released by the International Coffee Organization (ICO).
Data show that last year world coffee production reached 168 million bags, a growth of 2.5% in just one year. The data show that in addition to Brazil, production remains high in Vietnam, which serves 18% of the international market; in Colombia, which accounts for 9% of world supply; Indonesia (6%), Ethiopia (5%), Honduras (5%) and India (3%).
