In 2018, the progress of the works at this time of the harvest indicated 38.74% of the area harvested, while the average of the last five years for the harvest in the period is 41.06% - in this period, the greatest advance for the moment was registered in 2014, with 50.57%.
Among the Cooxupé's areas of activity, the highest rate was recorded in the South of Minas Gerais, with 63.81% of the area harvested, while the slowest pace was registered in the Cerrado Mineiro, with 48.46%.
Cooxupé, which is also the main coffee exporter in Brazil, estimates that its associates are expected to produce 7.6 million bags in 2019, compared to 8.4 million bags in 2018.
