Activities are faster compared to the same period last year (72%), when the harvest was higher, and also at a stronger pace compared to 2017 (82.86%), another year of low Arabica productivity, as well as the current cycle.
According to Cooxupé, the works are more advanced in the South of Minas, where 88.33% of the area has already been harvested, followed by the Cerrado, with 86.6%.
Cooxupé cited an estimated production of 7.6 million bags by its members this year, the same number previously released. Last year, the harvest reached 8.4 million bags.
