On Conillon Espirito Santo is the main producer responsible for roughly 75% of the crop, followed by Bahia and Rondonia.
Espirito Santo and Bahia have around 85 / 90% of plantations irrigated. Rondonia mostly dependant on rains.
Cerrado region of Minas which produces between 6 to 8 mio bags depending on cycle is the most irrigated area with some 50%.
If you consider Arabica as a whole the level of irrigation migh be around 15% to 20% maximum. It is my feeling and would like to hear from other brazilian friends if they agree.
Therefore we are very dependant on rains for a good Arabica crop. GT
