I do not completely agree with you Admiral otherwise I would not spent time on my EW quaterly, monthly, weekly and daily on gold, silver, platinum, wti, coffee, copper and cocoa (for the most important ones I closely follow)...
I still think that in a swing trading for holding a position on a 3 to 6 weeks period, they have some added value: for entering long in a Wave 3 or 5 or entering short on a wave B or C. Similarly once in position, it is added value for confirming invalidation point/zone and then getting out. As a matter of fact I intensified my efforts in EW in the last 2 months as more and more I recognize their added value in the setting I mentioned.
