We know that the reduction of warehouse stocks is just one measure of the supply situation, and not the global picture. However, outside the immediate coffee community we repeatedly hear the word “tightness”. In my view, the falling stocks give the perception of shrinking supplies even though there may or may not be an abundance. Relevant to this, is the projected production number for ‘19/‘20 as well as the marketability of the coffee produced for this period. Can anyone shed some light on this topic?
