In November, Brazil exported 3,294 million bags of 60 kg of coffee beans. Data from the Secretariat of Foreign Trade and International Affairs (Secex) indicate that there was a decrease of 15.4% compared to November / 2018, when 3,894 million were shipped.
In terms of foreign exchange revenue, there was a decrease of 21% in the period, to US $ 406.8 million compared to US $ 515.2 million registered in November 2018.
Comparing volumes with last month, coffee exports fell slightly by 0.83% in terms of volumes. In the same comparison, foreign exchange revenue was 2.57% higher, considering revenues of US $ 396.6 million in October 2018.
This year, until November, 32.928 million bags were shipped, an increase of 25.2% compared to the same period of 2018 (26.295 million bags). Foreign exchange revenue in the period grew 6.5%, from US $ 3.777 billion to US $ 4.043 billion.
