The demand for coffee in Brazil, accumulated in 2020, until Mar / 20, was only -2.00% in relation to the same period in 2019. 2020 = 9.96 million bags of 60 Kg x 2019 = 10.2 million of 60 kg bags.
This reflects that the demand in 2020 was already constant and the same as before COVID-19. The increase in exports between May / 20 x Apr / 20, + 17.6%, may be reflecting the aforementioned anticipation, however these figures show that Brazilian export demand and logistics have not been interrupted by COVID-19.
The devaluation of the KC, may be related to the devaluation of the REAL (+ 38% approx) x KC (-20% approx) in 2020.
