Why average retail trader should avoid to be KC long

As I understood from "What moves KC price" discussion to be long with KC you need to have specific reasons and to be part of coffee business. For sure this is not the case of retail trader. As a retail trader taking long position we agree to fight against trend and persistent big contango. Continuous KC chart is misleading. Adjusted by contango it would show that after 7-8 years long position has a 100% loss, only because of contango. In summary average retail trader should join brazilian producers and only sell spikes with good money management and enjoy long-term profits.
