1. Could the pics be from irrigated farms? Do they do any irrigation in that region?
2. Could these farms be isolated anomalies that got lucky and had more rains than most everyone surrounding them due to the scattered nature of the beneficial showers? Perhaps like the scattered nature of summertime thunderstorms?
3. Is there any chance that the person who originally provided these pics (I don't mean ANTIFREEZE) is either mistaken or is short and is trying to deceive by showing pics that are either from another time or from another location?
I'm asking all of these questions because I know from data I've seen that the vast majority of farms in Mogiana got much less than normal rainfall October 8th through November 6th (as per the map below) that had followed extreme heat/dry the two weeks before that and that rainfall was also well below normal for April-Sept overall:
Note that Altinopolis is in the 2nd shade of brown, which is 30-90 mm (drier than normal):
