We can divide the productive potential of a coffee production cycle in vegetation, flowering, graining and development. The vegetation, flowering and graining phases, for the 2021/2022 harvest, have already occurred and were not good, they are irrecoverable, either because of the biennial or because of the drought. There is no longer any possibility of recovering these phases, leaving only the development phase. Note that the article refers to this phase, development, and if it does not rain, there may be a worsening of the productive potential for the next Brazilian harvest. Perhaps that is why the bearish view of the article. IMO
