I participate in a group on Telegram and read this post and found it very interesting, so I share it with you.
ICO , export Oct / Dec 2020
In summary, for ICO , in October the world crop year begins, so in the period from October to
December 2020, the world exported a total of 31.594 million bags, an increase of 6.1% compared to the same period last year, a total of 1.809 million more bags, but Brazil exported an additional 3.474 million bags, so, removing Brazil, the world exported less 1.655 million bags, it is noted that exports from other countries are being lower by 8.43%. However, Brazil will soon decrease its exports a lot, the question is, will other countries increase their exports?
It can also be verified that the growth of exports in 6.1% in relation to the same period of 2019 , demonstrates that the consumption of world coffee is very good , because these larger exports grew more than the growth of visible stocks , so it is deduced that part of the growth of exports was for consumption .
So we can start to conclude that due to Brazil starting to decrease its coffee exports soon, because it will have a much lower production in 2021 due to bienniality and great drought, the world supply to importing countries will suffer a severe decrease already from the next months, because Brazil plus the other countries will greatly decrease the flow of coffee.
So all the attention in the world exportations from January 2021, because the information says that they will be already much smaller in most of the exporting countries.
