Thanks for the articles Potifar and Tango. The big difference between now and 2007-2008 is just how weak producing nation currencies are. I happen to think they'll appreciate over time, but we just tightened the supply and demand in a host of commodities, and outside of a few markets like coffee, prices are a lot higher. The next leg in the super cycle in my opinion will not be driven so much by supply and demand, but needs to be driven by oil prices and currencies, and notably the BRL remains a huge laggard, and deflationary on coffee and sugar prices in particular.
