Every year there are different estimates. Last year I do not recall anything close to the bad reports we've seen this year, which is also consistent with weather we've seen. Coffee trees can weather a September drought, but when it spills into October and November it's bad for production. I don't whether the crop will be on the higher or lower range of current estimates but its a bad one either way.
