18 of the 40 European coffee brands, "trembled" last year due to the decrease in sales made outside the home, hampered by the covid 19.
Still, approximately 60% of industry leaders surveyed in the report, anticipated a projected increase expectation for the next 12 months.
This expectation is for the UK markets and many other European economies.
The European coffee shop segment is forecasting an increase of 2.9% by 2025, reaching 45,400 stores.
Coffee drinks in Europe remain part of the European lifestyle and we expect the market to return to pre-pandemic levels as early as 2022 or potentially in 2023, said Allegra Group founder CEO Jeffrey Young.
With the continuous progress of vaccines and the recovery of the markets, European consumers will return to the stores and to social interaction with added value to the drinks of the special coffees.
