Arabica production is estimated at 34.70 million bags, which corresponds to a 31% drop compared to the previous season. The previous number of Arabica production 2021 was 35.2 million bags.
In the case of the conilon, "the situation is quite different", as comments by SAFRAS & Mercado consultant, Gil Barabach. "The water situation is more comfortable and the harvest has developed more smoothly, and should therefore confirm initial expectations," he says. Generally speaking, the country should produce 21.80 million bags of conilon, an increase of 12% in relation to that harvested last year. The previous figure was 21.7 million bags.
