Re: Who will replace Brazil?
Some experts point out that exports from Brazil in the period July 2021 to June 2022, which is the coffee season of Brazil, will decrease by 1/3, so there will be a decrease in exports of about 15 million bags. Another thing that is of great concern is the climate in Brazil, as all the important coffee producing regions are suffering from the worst drought in the last 100 years. So, if in the beginning of spring in Brazil, in September and October, the rains are late, it will have a big impact on the flowering to produce in 2022. Warning, the vegetative growth of coffee trees is already much lower due to the drought of 2020 and now with the drought from March to June 2021. They say that Brazil's crop will already be lower than 2018.
