Kannan: Not irrational at all. I have done my homework, having studied over a dozen excellent books (plus countless articles) over many, many years, regarding climate change (and many other books probably not worth reading). Then I focused specifically on the consequences of climate change and crops. The planet's climate is constantly changing by eons' old natural causes...like Milankovitch Cycles....but man made alterations are hundreds of times more powerful than the extraordinary slow natural ones and have changed the climate at a rate thousands of times faster. It is real. Let me suggest just two easily read + understood books...."Hot, Hungry Planet" by Lisa Palmer and "This Is The Way The World Ends" by Jeff Nesbitt. I can recommend many more if anyone is really interested. The books are fascinating.
