Dry conditions may prevail in the Center-South Thursday increasing chances of widespread frost in sugar-cane, coffee, orange and wheat in south region, Sao Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul and Minas Gerais Friday, Marco Antonio dos Santos, a meteorologist at Rural Clima in Valinhos said by message.
Coffee areas of Sao Paulo’s Franca may see temperatures of 4 degrees Celsius (39 degrees Fahrenheit), Minas Gerais’ Alfenas, 3ºC

According to Somar Meteorologia, sugar-cane areas in Sao Paulo’s Pradopolis reached 1ºC Thursday, while in Ribeirao Preto, more humid conditions prevented temperatures from declining sharply, with lows seen at 5ºC
