Thanks. But sometimes I wonder about some of those "big players" you spoke about. It may be that much of the big speculative money (not producers and not end users but speculators) is directed by hedge fund managers who trade on technical charting or price pattern recognition computer programs. I have even read some economic books that say that these technical players do NOT want any fundamental information as they believe that such could unduly influence their chart reading. If you are correct in thinking that the drought + frost have (past tense) already done damage, and that there will be a real physical shortage of coffee, then why haven't prices jumped even more than they have. For what its worth, I agree with you on the fundamental analysis, but do not believe that market makers are always ahead of us.
