Brazil’s Deliberative Council on Coffee Policy approved the creation of a 1.3b reais reserve in the Coffee Economy Defense Fund’s budget for coffee farmers affected by frosts in recent weeks, according to an Agriculture Ministry statement.
Measure to require monetary council approval
Amount is part of the 5.9b reais approved for application of the fund’s financing lines for the 2021/2022 harvest
