The interpretation of our research group is that the Brazilian potential crop of 48 million bags of arabica for the year 2022/23 has been reduced by 12 million bags, due to the drought of 2020, drought of 2021 and frosts of 2021. Thus the potential today will be 36 million bags. It is necessary that the rains return in abundance from September onwards to obtain this expectation. We maintain arabica production in 2020 at 50 million bags, and for the current harvest of 2021 at a maximum of 23 million bags.
