Re: Photos of eradicating coffee trees in the Cerrado.
Climate change is occurring but the world had by and large excellent crops in everything from grains to coffee to sugar for most of the last 10 years. In grains, the trend to warmer temperatures has not occurred in the summer months but over fall, winter and spring. This is actually bearish as it lends itself to extended growing seasons. I'm bullish coffee here, but this year notwithstanding, the likelihood of frost in coffee is far lower than it was 30 years ago. Bottom line is climate change should not be a factor in trading any of these markets. You assume trendline weather until proven otherwise, and adjust your positions accordingly.
