Analyzing the last 12 months, August 2020 to July 2021, 129,636,793 bags of coffee were exported, or rather, imported, while in the same period of the previous year the imports were 127,584,405 bags of coffee. Logic tells me: 1) There was an increase of 2 million bags in imports. There is no noticeable increase of the visible stocks. The only logical conclusion is that the consumption is normal. On the side of the prices per differencials of the various qualities, we also notice that they are firm and more expensive, demonstrating that demand is good. It calls the attention the Arabica shipments from other origins outside Brazil, we know that are expensive coffees, with premiums of more 25, 50, 70 and others. Note that in this month of July the importers did not bother to import these expensive coffees.
