The crucial difference is that this time around, Brazil has fewer than 15mln bags on hand (vs. ~30mln in 1994). Does a high KC price in BRL terms even matter if Brazil doesn't have stocks to export?
I'm very curious how much this price level will curtail domestic consumption. If there's anywhere in the world that should see demand rationing due to high price level right now, it's Brazil.
