Recently December coffee traded at about 147. Today that December contract closed above 160. Will 147 prove to be a long lasting low? Was Judith Ganes correct in thinking that this year will see lower production? Will the current El Nino lower next year's yields too? Currently I am long, with call options, on sugar but I am thinking of buying long term (into next year) calls on coffee. Thoughts on any of this????
