Brazilian Coffee Harvest 2025, uncertainties and answers!
Always at the beginning of the year we go to the field to observe the development of coffee crops, until the end of the year 2024 it was more frustrations than hope, because we came from a smaller harvest in 2024, we went through a period of up to 150 days of little rain in the producing regions, but a great flowering came that did not materialize in its entirety.
But December came and with it regular rains that relieved the water stress of the plants, causing the fruits to grow uniformly and the plants to have a satisfactory vegetative recovery.
Observing the productive potential of the plants we can say that we will have a harvest of 2025, 10% to 15% higher than the last crop of 2024, another positive point will be an important issue, the quality will be a significant gain mainly in relation to the large sieves, because we had a maximum of two blooms that made the plant produce uniform grains in the grain filling phase.
We know that this is a preliminary report, and depends on many factors until the beginning of the harvest in May, but we have a great expectation, the world and consumers can rest assured that Brazil will once again be a protagonist in the production and export of coffee in 2025.
God bless everyone
