I am trying to trace William Bennett, the father of John Bennett (1766-1832). John married Martha Whitchurch (1758-1835) and they raised their family in Tavistock. I have hit a brick wall trying to trace William Bennett - I was hoping for a breakthrough with my DNA test results.
