If your relative shares their DNA results with you then they won't need an Ancestry sub. You can share any findings with them. If you just want to do a one-to-one comparison you could pick up a cheap test from MyHeritage DNA or FamilyTreeDNA. Transfers to FTDNA are free so you can do comparisons there.
