Try entering the total into the Shared cM Tool on the DNA Painter website:
https://dnapainter.com/tools/sharedcmv4
This will give you a list of all the possible relationships and their probabilities. The fact that the match is on a single segment makes no difference to these probabilities. You then need to compare family trees to see if you can identify a common ancestor. This is easier if you look at your shared matches/in common with matches to see if you triangulate on the family trees.
