On the old Formers site I tried and failed to get discussion about the tory campaign for Brexit, which seems to pit the tories against their traditional mates in the CBI, the banks, and the rest - and to abandon their support for the EEC and EU that had previously been so strong. An article in the latest London Review of Books (volume 40, number 5) tries to answer the question "What are they after?" re the tory Brexiteers. I'm not altogether convinced by the answers, but at least someone is trying to explain what's happening. It's by someone called William Davies.
