Can't say I was over-impressed with the John Elder piece in the first place though, to be fair, he says nothing I haven't heard within the Palestine solidarity movement over the past 50 years.

The rebuttals by Mary Davis and subsequent letters from David Rosenberg (Jewish Socialists Group -- a Bundist movement) and Andrew Northall, all take issue with Elder, who does, deliberately or not, tar the entire Jewish community with the Zionist brush.

which goes into great detail but perhaps could have delved deeper into Mary Davis' motives, which some say go far beyond the Zionist problem.

But why on earth did Chacko publish a grovelling apology for an article he presumably approved of in the first place? He never apologises for all the other rubbish he's passed for publication in the past...
