I am disturbed by this post. It is reminiscent of the nudge-nudge-wink-wink postings about Jewish MPs that the late and very unlamented Perry Streicher specialised in before he descended into full Holocaust-denial madness. If someone wants to call their son Zion, so what? I have Jewish friends who call themselves left-wing Zionists. They believe in the two-state solution, are against the occupation of Palestinian territories, and are appalled by Netanyahu's racism. At a time when the left is being attacked for being anti-semitic, this sort of post plays into the hands of the class enemy.
