I would like to pose a question for the burnt out Euros and others on this Forum who supported Khruschov's attack on Stalin at the 20th Congress ; Do you not think Khruschov's speech against Stalin encouraged a toxic cynicism among communists and caused some parties never to recover from the damage done . I believe once Allen Dulles director of the CIA talked about spreading cynicism in the socialist countries . Surely a good communist leader fights cynicism and works to eliminate it , not encourage it ? . The communist movement would be a better place with fewer cynics and more true believers.
