Quite clever in analysing and dismissing some of the nonsense which does get talked about sometimes, more rarely nowadays, about DM and HM:

"You are not thinking dialectically comrade!"

"Dialectically, you can be right even when you are wrong." And vice versa.

At a CPB Congress, I remember my branch secretary praising the latest BRS as "very dialectical". "What do you mean by that?" asked none other than Rob Griffiths. "Its...er..er....very dialectical...." was the reply.

It's interesting Stephen has to go back to the 1940s to produce such a decent article.

The modern day Clapham SPGB and Socialist Standard having been denuded of Marxists and Marxism for several decades is completely incapable of producing anything of quality, let alone corresponding to any form of Marxism, even the Second International Marxism from which the original SPGB emerged.
