I don't know anything about Parker, but browsed around on his site a bit. The stuff on the NCP conforms broadly to my memories, although there seem to have been more splits and purges than I knew about - not quite on a par with Gerry Healy's mob but getting that way. On the Communist University Parker writes "The first CU was in Swansea in 1996." This can't be correct: I left the UK in 1981 and had attended a number of CUs in the 80s (and 70s I think). Is he referring to a breakaway CU, i.e. one not affiliated with the CPGB?
