Is there really that much genuine anti-semitism about?
Or is it in reality disgust, horror and anger at what Israel is doing to the Palestinian people. i.e. wholesale massacres and destruction, aimed ultimately at forcing out remaining Palestinian people from Greater Israel i.e. ethnic cleansing (a far too polite term).
I accept there may be some genuine anti semitism around (which should be condemned), but it seems to me that Jewish people in say the UK are hardly in the same position as say black people.
They are not a racially disadvantaged ethnic minority. Quite the reverse.
Twenty or thirty years ago it was considered racist to assert that people who are Jewish (whether religious, ethnic or identification) were somehow different from others and/or were not fully integrated members of society.
It seems that the vast majority of people (usually in powerful or influential positions) who put themselves forward as Jewish and claim to be victims of anti semitism are doing so merely to express support for the State of Israel.
