Yes, the Archduchess is wearing the Bourbon Parma/ Lobkowicz Tiara (HERE) ! It was reacquired by Prince Charles Henri de Lobkowicz before the auction and is back in the family now. (I actually pointed out the tiara before the sale to the Prince, one of my instagram followers, and after he had bought it, he sent me a lovely message to thank me)
Empress Zita wore this Jet Tiara at all the Tiara events she was pictured during her widowhood, usually with the pearls she wore at her coronation.
After Empress Zita lost her husband in the first years of their exile, she wore full mourning at all major functions she attended (mostly weddings). The jet tiara was (to the best of my knowledge) the only head-ornament she wore after her husband's death.
In 1951 (Wedding of Archduke Otto in Nancy):
Interestingly, the Empress wears the diamond bow and badge of the Order of the Starry Cross, which she had worn at her own wedding, and which she loaned to Princess Regina (with her wedding tiara) when she married Archduke Otto.
As for the bride's tiara in the video, I wonder if it could be the Bourbon-Parme tiara, which aroused much interest when it was withdrawn from sale at the very last minute in May that year.
After all, Zita herself was born a Princess of Bourbon-Parme...
I wonder if anyone can identify the tiara worn by the bride in this video?
One of the things which caught my eye in this video is that Empress Zita is wearing a tiara! I presume that it is made from jet. Does anyone know?
I didn't think that the Empress wore a tiara after the fall of the monarchy -- or the death of her husband. Obviously I was wrong about that.
