Yes, I too must admit that Camilla disappoints me with her limited selections for all her state appearances. We think “oh, you should wear x because the pieces are beautiful and they are appropriate for your position etc’ However I wonder whether Camilla thinks, “ I’m here to support Charles, not chase status or look regal, therefor my standard (albeit lovely) tiara and few necklaces will do.
Then there is also the train of thought that perhaps Camilla stays away from looking too bejeweled/ regal, because then people will begrudge her (the old mistress steals the man story/ she can never be queen). I would hope that all have moved on from these earlier opinions, but one never knows.
At least Camilla puts herself out to wear some jewelry. How many times have we seen P of Monaco turn up to state events, royal weddings etc, without a stich of jewelry.
I don’t want to curse us, but I expect the next Queen of England (Camilla) will be very conservative on what jewels she will wear, while the next Pss of Wales (Catherine) will be the one that takes on the “wearing the rocks” role.
My thoughts anyway....

....The Duchess of Cornwall is ok but one would not imagine she has options or choice if she continues to look the same on every occasion. I mean she could have worn.....
