When Princess Eugenie appeared on her wedding day wearing the Greville emerald tiara a new myth emerged: the creation date. According to the press release it was made in 1919 but, as we all know from Vincent Meylan's research in the Boucheron archives, the tiara was made in 1921.

Recently I read an item on the Jewellery Editor site which gives a convoluted history of this tiara.

Has this site confused the history of the Boucheron honeycomb tiara with the emerald tiara?
