The follies of the Thai King are beyond belief! I only hope that the new Queen will not suffer the cruel fate of some of the King's previous wifes and their families.
Despite the little amount of sympathy I have for this regime, I do look forward to the Coronation ceremony, which promises to be grandiose.

Thailand has a new Queen, Queen Suthida, so we are likely to see her wearing some of the royal jewels, or probably even new ones, at the coronation celebrations over the next few days.
