I was browsing around on the bibliotheque nationale de france (BNF) the other day and stumbled across a good copy of this photo of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia, née Princess Anastasia of Montenegro ("Stana") - For the first time I was able to get a look at the massive brooch she is wearing and I thought people here might enjoy having a gawk at it too.





The BNF continues to put interesting things online. They have one of the most useful free online library databases if you can work your way through the French (google is a help here) and they let you download images and take shots of documents.
