I just love this piece of HM's jewel collection. I have the funny feeling that this brooch is a part of a much larger and substantial set maybe consisting of a grand and massive necklace, earrings and a bracelet something Kate may dawn. If there is not a set to it then it is possible Prince Charles may add to it when he becomes King for his wife to wear as her topaz and pearl necklace is of a similar colour. In a previous post on the said piece though I believe it was identified on the late QM.
