Funny how present day royals and members of noble families are rarely seen or known to own coloured diamonds. HM QE2 was gifted the Williamson pink diamond and the defunct Iranian royals had maybe half a dozen pink diamonds. The Tsars had a famous red diamond and one or two pink ones and the Hope blue was I believe in the French royal house. Are any other coloured diamonds owned or was seen on HM QE2? I believe yes, as she had debut a large floral brooch on her last visit to France but maybe the stones were semiprecious and not fully diamonds. I think in a previous post Queen Max of the Netherlands had worn stones of a pink hue colour. I saw some pictures with Melina Trump in some pink coloured diamonds. I wondered if she actually owned them or was just using same as a loan or for some charity event as the loaning of jewels seems on the rise again.
