Thank you Franck. I have looked at the photo you referred to so many times, but I had never taken any notice of the small brooch.

The one in Queen Mary's jewel inventory is definitely the brooch given by Lady Lindsay.





but in my opinion is not the one worn by the Duchess of Cambridge. The Duchess' brooch has more pearls and leaves.
