Oh!! I am almost speechless Knightship! Your knowledge of the Norwegian jewels is outstanding (as is your collection of photos). The shape matches so well that I think you are on the right track. I very much doubt if there would be two brooches so similar in shape in the Norwegian collection, as the Curzon brooch is distinctive. It would be great if there was a photo with higher definition so that the details could be appreciated. If only there were more sketches of Queen Maud's wedding gifts available. I suspect that then more jewels could be traced to the Queen.
