I do doubt that Edo would go to his father for the use of a possible family tiara. At the death of his stepfather, Christopher Shale, Edo said that he was the only father he had ever known so at least at the time he doesn't seem to have had a close relationship to his dad. Then again, who knows. I'm only guessing. Previous Message
A good analysis Franck. However I think you may have forgotten the other coloured stone tiara, the Turquoise and diamond one formally in the collection of the late QEQM and thence the PR. Now that tiara is simple but yet beautiful and does carry a punch. The other option could yet be the York tiara as Princess Beatrice is the older sibling and may take over as a Duchess of York in her own right if a future King Charles allows it as was done in the past to I believe the daughter a QV Princess Louise although under different circumstances. And finally, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi does come from a aristocratic and noble Italian family, Princess Beatrice may just be loaned one from that family or he her Fiancé may buy her a new tiara as was done for Sarah Fergusson when se married into the British Royal family. It is totally plausible that the DoY could have been gifted or loaned other tiaras but just never wore them. But then they are so many other outcomes such as like what occurred with the Countess of Wessex where she was given elements and same were brought together to form a tiara etc. And seeing that the engagement ring has similarities to the Queen's own engagement ring one cannot rule out the fringe tiara worn by HM on her wedding day as well as being worn by the PR or one of the other fringes.

Dave.

Dear all,
I would like to do a post about the future tiara worn by Princess Beatrice for her wedding.
Without being vain I posted on the time of the wedding of the future Duchess of Sussex that she would wear the Queen Mary diamond bandeau tiara (We didn’t the name in 2008) or Queen Mary’s diamond lozenge tiara.
I was also sure that one day we would see the emerald greville tiara ! time told !
Therefore please find below my feelings about the tiara worn by Princess Beatrice for her wedding.
I directly exclude the York tiara as her Majesty has lent tiara to the Duchess of Cambridge, the Duchess of Sussex and of course Princess Eugenie. It must be a real honor to wear a tiara from the royal collection… and we have to bear in minds that the diadem worn by the Duchess of York Sarah is mediocre in design and it does not sparkle very much.
Firstly, I will directly exclude the tiaras worn by the other members of the royal family.
We know that the Duchess of Cornwall has on least 3 different diamond tiaras including the teck crescent tiara. As she is not in good mood with Princess Beatrice’s mother, I do not think that she would lent one of her tiaras. We can also infer that the Lover Knot tiara, the Halo and Papyrus are out because there is no way Beatrice is going to wear a tiara that the Duchess of Cambridge has worn. Consequently, the Queen Mary’s diamond Bandeau tiara is also out because Meghan wore it and we can guess she will be allowed to wear it again in the future. Last but not least, the Sussex tiara which was redesigned is on a permanent loan to the Countess of Sussex. I do not think that Princess Beatrice will wear the emerald Greville tiara was it was worn by her sister.
Secondly, We know that on least 6 tiaras are in the vault waiting for being worn : the Double Greek key tiara worn once by Princess Anne from QEQM, the Strathmore rose tiara, the Lozenge tiara, the pearl and diamond tiara worn once by Princess Anne for a portrait, Queen Mary’s sapphire and diamond bandeau tiara and the small Indian ruby tiara. When we compare the tiaras worn by the Duchess of Sussex and of course her sister, I do think that the Lozenge diamond Bandeau, the Strathmore tiara and the small pearl and diamond would probably not be very impressive. Finally, I DO hope that she will wear the massive geometric diamond bandeau tiara won once by Princess Anne and inherited from Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. I also do hope that we will know the history of this tiara which must be from the Greville’s bequest. Last but not least, as Princess Eugenie broke with the tradition of not using colored stones for weddings, I think Beatrice may do the same, and opt for the Queen Mary’s sapphire and diamond bandeau.
To conclude my top list would be : first the geometric diamond tiara, second the Queen Mary’s sapphire and diamond tiara and the third the lozenge diamond tiara/The Strathmore tiara
Franck
