She added arches on the 9 province tiara.
She put off the base of the Stockholm tiara and wore the pearl alone.
Princess Lilian were this pearl on her hat for Prince Albert and Princess Paola's Wedding.
Since then base and pearl never seen anymore .

As far as i can remeber Grand Duchess Joséphine-CVharlotte's emerald peacock necklace/taria was made using emeralds from an emerald cross and pendant of Queen Astrid which she had gotz from her parents Prince Carl and Princess Ingeborg of Sweden and not from this convertible necklace/tiara.
Unfortunately it's fate is unknown which is also the case for Queen Astrid's stockholm Wedding gift tiara. Previous Message

The necklace are the diamonds of the 9 Province tiara
King Leopold inherited alas his late wife'jewels.
His second wife Lilian was often pictured with Astrd tiara/necklwce. This jewel was never seen anymore.
Princess Lilian was not allowed to wear the Queen's tiara. She wore the bandau for President René Coty, and the diamonds above the deco tiara or on a golden necklace.
When we saw in 196O the Queens tiara in its whole by Donna Fabiola on her Wedding day, I remember my grand mother cried.
JR76, yes Grand Duchess Josephine asked Van Cleef to realise a tiara with her Mother's emeralds, the stones were small and diamands were added. if the tiara survived its whole it should never be diamantled. Previous Message
To my knowledge Josephine Charlotte inherited her mother's emeralds and it's said that she used the emeralds in that tiara to make some other pieces. I read about it somewhere but can unfortunately not remember where. Previous Message
My thoughts rests on the tiara in the below picture and wonder if it is still in the possession of the Belgian royal family.
