Lady Mary Boscawen was born Lady Mary Helen Alma Graham, the elder daughter of James Graham, 6th Duke of Montrose. She was the Marchioness of Graham's sister-in-law. She married Major John Perceval Townshend Boscawen, a descendant of the 3rd Viscount Falmouth, in 1931.
