A few years ago, Beth found this extraordinary photograph, showing Margaret Greville wearing her Emerald Tiara, watching Richard Tauber preform at the Austrian Legation, May 13, 1937:
Many, including Beth and Franck, made a strong case for the existence of a second Emerald necklace in the Greville bequest. On the basis of this blurry photo, I can only suspect that the necklace debuted tonight by Her Majesty is indeed a Greville jewel, as are the earrings, worn for the first time tonight since the Queen Mother's death.
The space between the square emeralds, and the shape of cabochons seem to correspond to the photo of M. Greville.
This would be the second major Greville Emerald jewel to reappear in recent days, and a most auspicious occasion to continue this excellent board!
